This poem is much like other bible poems. I am not surprised that in this poem too, god is anthropomorphized. A funny thing is that is seemed God isn’t like us we are like god because he created us in his image. Although I am a practicing catholic I find this hard to believe because god has no image. Another weird thing is that it seems that god let us take over his world which I don’t agree with. We took over the world but we weren’t meant to. It seems to me this poem is also very patriotic in how we have dominion over everything. Because frankly we don’t.
