Genesis 1, 1-15

I’ve always Heard about this poem which is the bibles first book and famous for its seven days of creation. The form in which it was written dind’t surprise me because of the number of times of heard it. Something I found quite interesting and note worth, was how the poem refers to gad as he. This clearly shows how the bible is affected by man chauvinism.  I was also surprised on how they focus on earth as if god didn’t create the rest of the solar system although this may have been caused by lack of knowledge it is also an anthropological instinct to believe he created us first. They also describe the sun which was created for earth’s purpose which used to be the ancient belief. This is of course a religious and ancient poem because of the way of writing and its origin the bible
