This poem is quite weird and unique. This poem’s ideas are very unique in its sense of being feminist, most texts describe the creation as of man being created first but this one doesn’t. This is what makes this poem so unique and weird. The poem is like most religious or mythical poems which describe god having a humane from or body. The poem describes how god created women and how beautiful they are. Although it is based on women he also describes men as being imperfect which is essentially true. Overall it seems the author is more focused on god and what he is doing than humans. This poem is feminist because it says that women were created first but it does refer to God as a “he” which means the author also has a male bias. The author also refers to wisdom and happiness as to different things. God told women to drink from one if you forget happiness and the other to understand happiness. Quite confusing but it does have a deep meaning. This is a great poem because it shows a different point of view from the religious or fictional poems. This poem should be a classic, it really shows great point of view and has great descriptive writing. This poem has been published a long time ago maybe 100 years. This poem isn’t going to become a classic and it isn’t classic because it lacks popularity but it has the potential.
